Lauv Poster

For this project from Image and Type class, we were allowed to pick any musical artist to create a series of posters for their tour.

A singer that I really admire is Luav. I love his music and how he sings about raw feelings, loneliness, heartbreak, etc. He has a really cool aesthetic of empty space, tattoos, buzzcuts, colors, grass, skies, and butterflies. I wanted to incorporate many colors and his aesthetics while also staying true to his minimalistic style.

We created many iterations to use because many times artists don't just use one tour poster, but a series to keep the viewers interested and intrigued.
