Study Abroad Flyers

During the Spring semester of my junior year at UIUC, I was able to study abroad in Florence, Italy.

While abroad, I was fulfilling credits in my graphic design major with some cool classes abroad, and we were tasked with creating promotional flyers that would show off our beautiful city of Florence for prospective study abroad students.

I of course wanted to incorporate the main buildings: the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, etc., but also wanted to make sure there were rainbow colors included to subtly show that all students are accepted here, regardless of how they identify.

Being gay myself, I know it can be scary going abroad feeling different and alone, but I know from experience that Florence will love you regardless of who you are and so will your peers!
